That link is broken, any idea what they're "fixing"? Are you a member of the Flames of war War forum web site? I suspect not since the link works fine for me. If you joined, the link should work go to www.flamesofwar.com/ and join. Although that link will not tell you what has changed only when it will change. But I digress, The North Africa and East front books were done for V2 of the rules not V3, thus they are not perfectly compatible with it. Some of the things are small 105mm guns for the American that are breakthrough guns in V3 are not in V2 . A more major subject is the organization of American tank destroyer platoons in V2 is very different in than in V3, they should be made compatible. What else, BF is not saying, there may be new lists, changes in old lists I don't know for sure? Since I am the only one in Lebanon who keeps close track, I thought that I would let everyone know. I think Will and Jeff only go to the forumto get answers to rules questions,

I would hope there is some points reductions in armor, some lists are unplayable at the moment. 100 points per confident trained M3 Lees against Tankovy? Ouch.

I would hope there is some points reductions in armor, some lists are unplayable at the moment. 100 points per confident trained M3 Lees against Tankovy? Ouch. Joe Most Russian tanks have a special rule called Hens & Chickens if the command tank in a platoon moves then all tanks in the platoon are considered to move, further moving Russian tanks not only have their ROF cut in half but they also fire at +1 so if firing at your trained Lee instead of needing a 3+ they need a 4+ and that doesn't count any bonus for long distance and concealment. that's why the points for a tankovy may seem when compared to the Lee. Further the Lee has two guns and if you compare it to other tanks like the Sherman or the Panzer IV it's cost is in line with them. AT one time we played a lot of North Africa and didn't consider the Lee to be unplayable. The Lee is a good tank when compared to most others in MW take a look at what a Tiger or a Panther will cost.

The Lee isn't unplayable I like it, it just dies really quick confident trained.

The Lee isn't unplayable I like it, it just dies really quick confident trained. Then you shouldn't play american's in MW except for airborne they are all trained. Further those Russian's you think are so under priced are also all trained, or conscript. The British are all trained armor too. only the German's have lot's of Veterans. The Update for MW has been postponed for another week

I play armored rifles in MW cause they're cheaper and are big platoons, I sometimes take Lees as support but that's about it.

Have your list ready for your opponent. You are always evil Jerry. You come up with the oddball list in a tournament.

*****War Dispatch*****
We can make room for more players. I need to know tonight so we can muster the tables for the event.
The battle of Flames of War players from Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire will go down at Blackmoon Games tomorrow. A great day to come out and see some great Flames of War players in the New England Tournament Circuit.
